Driving innovation: my project portfolio
Welcome to my curated project portfolio, where I showcase the tangible impact of my work in quality improvement and healthcare innovation. Beyond clinical expertise, these projects demonstrate my ability to lead, analyze, and deliver significant outcomes. Explore the initiatives that define my commitment to excellence and strategic change.

ICU Early Mobility Program Development
I developed a standardized competency protocol for ICU staff to ensure consistent, high-quality patient care. The protocol streamlined training, clarified expectations, and provided measurable benchmarks for staff performance, supporting both clinical excellence and efficient workflow in a high-acuity environment.

First Place, Graduate Division
My team won first place in the Penn State Case Competition, where we were tasked with developing a comprehensive retention plan for nursing staff. We designed strategic solutions focused on professional development, benefit packages, and staff engagement, demonstrating a practical, evidence-based approach to improving workforce stability the hospital.

Reducing Readmission Rates
As part of a healthcare project, I analyzed pneumonia readmissions at Waters Way Medical Center to identify root causes and develop an actionable plan. We focused on improving care coordination, standardizing clinical protocols, and enhancing patient education — strategies directly applicable to reducing preventable readmissions in real-world healthcare settings.

Reducing Plastic Waste through IV Supply Chain Reform
I led an initiative at Rush University System for Health to reduce plastic waste in the IV fluid supply chain. By analyzing procurement and usage patterns, we identified opportunities to streamline inventory, optimize supply processes, and implement sustainable practices — contributing to both environmental impact reduction and operational efficiency.

Orthotic Fabrication Standardization
I developed and implemented a standardized orthotic fabrication protocol in collaboration with the Burn Medical Director, achieving 100% adoption within three months. The protocol streamlined processes, ensured consistent patient care, and improved efficiency across the burn unit.
